Boxing at the 2024 Summer Olympics – Qualification

Qualifying Process

The Boxing Road to Paris qualification pathway witnessed athletes competing in continental events at the European Games, the Asian Games, the Pan American Games, and the African Games. A total of 248 boxers will compete at the 2024 Summer Olympics, with 124 men and 124 women. Each country may enter a maximum of eight boxers, with a maximum of four men and four women.

The first qualifying event was the Boxing Africa Qualifier for Paris 2024, which was held in Senegal from 9 to 15. Eighteen athletes from eight countries confirmed their Olympic spots at this event. The remaining qualifying events will be held in 2023 and 2024.

Timeline

The following is a timeline of the qualification process for boxing at the 2024 Summer Olympics:

  • February 2023: Continental qualifiers begin
  • May 2024: Final Olympic qualification event
  • July 2024: Opening ceremony of the 2024 Summer Olympics
