Red Alert Issued for Raigad District
Moderate to Heavy Rainfall Predicted
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red alert for Raigad district in Maharashtra, warning of heavy rainfall in the coming days.
The IMD had earlier predicted moderate rainfall in the district, but the forecast has now been upgraded to heavy.
The IMD has also issued an orange alert for Mumbai, predicting heavy rain on Saturday.
The rainfall is expected to cause waterlogging and disruption of traffic in the city.
